Curried cashewnuts

Curried cashewnuts is a great snack, even the kids love them! And they are so easy to make. If you have raw cashews (or other nuts) in the house, you have a healthier and super snack in just 20 minutes. Make a lot, or you’ll regret it!

Karristekte cashewnøtter

Ingredients for a big bowl:

  • 300 grams raw cashews (I haven’t tried any other nuts but it should work fine)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 – 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 2 tsp maple syrup

This is how you do it:

Set the oven to 180 C (400 F) and Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Put all the ingredients into a bowl and stir it well together. Spread the nuts onto the baking sheet, make sure they don’t cover each other. Bake them in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, make sure they don’t get burnt.

Take them out and let them cool a bit before eating them. When they are cold, the spices will harden a bit and make the nuts even better and more crunchy. Delicious!
